Elizabeth "Libby" Orrick
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
Perinatal and Fertility Counseling
I am deeply passionate about helping individuals on the journey into parenthood obtain the support, resources, and validation they deserve. I use my extensive training in perinatal mental health, my background in evidence-based therapies, and my fellowship training at Kaiser Permanente to support individuals on their journeys into parenthood from pre-conception family planning to postpartum and beyond. Some areas I work in include preconception family planning, fertility, pregnancy loss, prenatal mood challenges, postpartum depression and anxiety, processing birth trauma, issues of identity, relationship challenges, and unlearning unhelpful patterns from one’s family of origin.

My approach is warm, authentic, supportive, and nonjudgmental. In sessions, I like to blend humor, psychoeducation, skill-building, clinical insight, and a whole lot of validation. My services include in-person therapy in the Inner Sunset in San Francisco and virtually throughout California. Infants and little ones are welcome to attend virtual sessions if need be.
A brief selection of my advanced training includes:
