Cost & Info
Therapy requires a substantial investment of finances, time and energy. It's important to consider these elements before starting. I usually see my clients once per week, sometimes more, sometimes less, especially as they start to experience less stress and more levity. I can provide you with an estimate of total time and cost known as a Good Faith Estimate for your budget planning. See below.

INFO FOR INSURANCE HOLDERS

We do not accept insurance as payment. You may be able to submit our bills to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to inquire about out-of-network coverage.
I can furnish a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurer. To understand your coverage better, consider asking:
-
Does my plan include reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services?
-
Is there a deductible that must be met before reimbursement begins?
-
What is the annual session limit for mental health coverage?
-
What percentage of the fee is covered by my insurance?
“Good Faith Estimate”

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
